The Sierra Fund’s CEO Elizabeth “Izzy” Martin will address participants at the upcoming Sierra Nevada Conservancy Summit: Interest on a Past-Due Bill: Funding Watershed Restoration and Forest Health, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Martin will speak in the morning during the “State of Sierra Watersheds” discussion on the status of watershed restoration investment in the Sierra Nevada.
The purpose of the Summit is to bring the Sierra Nevada Conservancy Board and staff together with the United States Forest Service Region 5 leadership, multi-level agency representatives and stakeholders to learn about innovative avenues for funding watershed restoration in the Sierra.
