The Sierra Fund is calling upon the community to donate generously to a pivotal project in partnership with the California Heritage: Indigenous Research Project (CHIRP) that will support:
- The construction of the final segment of the Deer Creek Tribute Trail System, connecting the suspension bridge property to the NID ditch without people needing to walk on Champion Mine Road, and
- Forest health treatment and much needed cultural reclamation for the First Nation of Nevada City on a property recently acquired by CHIRP
