The Sierra Environmental Services Directory is a new, free resource is designed to connect landowners who have environmental contamination problems with the scientific, legal and financial expertise they need to clean up their properties.

Deadline for first edition publication is October 30, 2010.
Appropriate listings include those who may need environmental services, and those who provide or support environmental services of many kinds:
- Nonprofits: community organizations, health organizations, community foundations, land trusts, watershed restoration groups, educational groups, neighborhood associations, environmental justice organizations
- Agencies: grantmaking agencies, water and conservation departments, mining and abandoned mine departments, public health, environmental health, water agencies, tribal governments, landowning agencies
- Businesses: Environmental consulting firms, laboratories, grant writers and fundraisers, community organizers, web services, design services, legal services, community outreach firms, venture capitalist
- Educational Institutions: Community colleges, universities and departments
The directory will be launched on November 8, 2010 at the public conference, Reclaiming the Sierra: A Community Summit on Mining Impacts. The first printed edition will be published in the conference program and will also be available in an easily searchable and modifiable online database. It will be organized to provide easy use for landowners searching for specific services.
